Goodies from Singapore!

09.05.2013 – It’s obvious that I missed the weekend’s “The Pop Culture of the Year” which was really not my plan to go back there. Last year’s Singapore trip was tight schedule was a pressure cooker it was too short of a trip to see more of the place. My good friend Kartonista made sure he got me something not to miss the convention and other things besides the friends we made in our last travel there. Well actually he was there surprisingly. There’s so much fun in the goodies he took home from his recent visit to the red dot island and I’m still feeling the residue from that adventure.

The Visit at The Yahoo! Philippines Pantry Area!

07.04.2012 – Two days ago prior to watching the press media screening of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter finally I have gone to Yahoo! Philippines office at The Fort located in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. It was a bit late when I arrived at the 20th floor where the regional office is located. I almost got lost on the way when I dropped off near the commercial area of the Boni High Street and the weather was fairly fine heading to the evening. From the newly built Track 30th Park I walked down the 30th Street.

Revisit Korea 2011: The Stroll at Tong Yeong City.

03.15.2012 – First day at Tongyeong City was an adjustment with seven degrees it’s not normal for someone who grew up in a tropical country to experience that temperature. We called home in the morning that we’re all settled and ready to buy supplies like our food for the next few days. The small town of Tong Yeong doesn’t look like provinces as what our original perspective was whenever that word describes this place. It was similar to what Makati looks like now is best describing this town. But the population is not as over crowded as Manila is having right now.

The Nintendo Wii Party on Black Saturday Meet-up 2011!

04.24.2011 - Its after midnight and its almost 2AM. Everyone has gone home with the exception of RG who came with a friend stayed for overnight. Its more of a Nintendo Wii party compared to last year's geekfest marathon of screenings. This was definitely a fund Saturday among friends.

The Absurdity of Rising Fuel Cost.

04.16.2011 - The rising cost of fuel and oil means things are going to be difficult for everyone. The inconcistency of price hike is affecting all sectors of the country. We get fuel by the liters not in gallons unlike our friends who are based outside the country. Mostly hearing from relatives who live in the US say we have expensive gasoline.

Ditching Mach Diesel's Balikbayan Box.

04.15.2011 - Last night after seeing the advance screening for Arthur me, and the crew went back to Go! Hotels to pick up the Balikbayan Box. This was left by my friend Mach after he flew back to San Diego California the other day. Actually prior to this there was two more unsorted box that is currently sitting in my room. The one we had pick up last night was counted as the third box.
