| 03.18.2012 – My first full week in Korea is a very new experience. Anyone who would want to travel to this place would probably end up wanting to go to Seoul but not unknown places like Tong Yeong. For me this is just one fine place to be right now more than any place everyone wishes to be. This was my first Friday in an unknown province outside Korea and I’m home alone while everyone is at sea to test the ship they are about to launch in a week. This is going to be one of those nights I’m just hanging out on my own and watching TV shows I don’t understand. |

Revisit Korea 2011: Going Through the Undersea Tunnel!
| 03.17.2012 – It was cold… The breeze is all around. I don’t know how to react to the cold weather at the time like this but its one of those adventures you’ll never forget. It was past 7PM and I just finished dinner with the sardines we brought from Manila was enough to hit the spot.
The day won’t end without a trip to the Undersea Tunnel known as “Yongmundalyang” which was built before the Second World War broke out. The name is engraved at the entrance of this impressive structure that stretches to 483 meters long and 5 meters wide connecting land to another island which is the other side of Tong Yeong. |

Revisit Korea 2011: Interesting Things Along Donam-Ro!
| 03.16.2012 – There are interesting sights where I’m temporarily based. This is not as popular as Seoul but it has its own merits to wonder what it feels like to live in this place. So late afternoon I started my stroll which basically the best time since its not cold but since its kind of late to get out the dropping of the temperature begins to rise. For most of my day I spent eating snacks that we bought at Top Mart the other night. It was funny we had to take the cab going to our place even though its close as the distance between my old office at RCBC to the Shopwise supermarket that’s just like 3 to 5 blocks away. |

Revisit Korea 2011: The Stroll at Tong Yeong City.
| 03.15.2012 – First day at Tongyeong City was an adjustment with seven degrees it’s not normal for someone who grew up in a tropical country to experience that temperature. We called home in the morning that we’re all settled and ready to buy supplies like our food for the next few days. The small town of Tong Yeong doesn’t look like provinces as what our original perspective was whenever that word describes this place. It was similar to what Makati looks like now is best describing this town. But the population is not as over crowded as Manila is having right now. |

Revisit Korea 2011: The Place Called Busan Station.
| 03.13.2012 – The arrival at Busan was a rough one and I was a cranky passenger trying to get my bearings straight as the plane made its decent. As I step out of the plane the cold was mild comparing it already to Baguio’s weather and I wasn’t in that place since the 1990s. Until the cold had caught on me wearing only the casual wear and the adidas jacket that was thick enough for tropical weather that can only make you warm while you reach Tagaytay. The airport bus or what they call a limousine took us to the main airport. |

Personal Highlight of 2011: The Travel To Korea!
| 12.30.2011 – In the span of a decade I have travelled less and have only seen the surface in my trips to selected countries in Asia. The year 2011 was very fortunate to me being able to explore another place in Korea. For 18 days I’ve shared enough photos and videos than anyone could brag that they made it to the city of Seoul which has not entirely shared the essence of being there. For anyone who I’ve seen and told that they are in Seoul that’s the not the only place in Korea for you to see. I’ve been to Busan and live to tell little places where you can find all Filipinos who hang out. |

The Night Life at Busan Station in Korea.
| 03.13.2011 - Arriving Sunday night at Busan station in Korea. A first timer to travel to this interesting country. Its where all the Super Juniors and Wonder Girls came from. Though I would admit I'm more interested in Japanese Pop Culture this place has something to offer, which I have to find out in the next few days. Upon setting foot at the airport a fairly cold breeze just hit me. The climate is not that cold anymore as I thought, but still its colder than Baguio. The night life is much alive and the time here is an hour ahead of Manila. |
