06.13.2011 - A little over two or almost three hours ago while walking along Chino Roces (formerly Pasong Tamo) on the way to a drinking place called Obeertime. This is where the second closest 7 Eleven place I go to buy my newspaper a Suzuki van was caught in the middle of the island. |
Though the occupants are safe and not in the influence of alcohol or any influential substance. Their vehicle's front left axle was caught in the hazard island.
The street lights in the corner of Chino Roces and Urban avenue was not that bright at all. Past the Export Bank building up beyond the 7 Eleven, some of the lamp post their are not that too well lighted, and that particular area is an accident waiting to happen.
What the local authorities particularly MMDA should issue in fixing the lights in that area and put mirrors in some blind corners. Those mirrors I saw in Korea would probably a good help for those motorists who doesn't see the sharp corners of some parts of Makati.
As much possible they could put action on it, because not everyone would have full headlights in their vehicles. Becuase it also gives blind sight to pedestrians if every vehicle had their LED in full bright mode.
Its good the two ladies in that vehicle where safe. Its so happens that area is not well lighted.
this is not the first time an incident like this happened, particularly in that island near Obeertime.
