With Marvel’s trailblazing success on their Cinematic Universe and DC Comics' Extended Universe that also include their ever-growing Arroverse on The CW it is not slowing down. The New Year certainly bring some more but there are also others too that’s not produced by the big two. Truly, the slew of animation, films, television, and video games has brought the genre to its impressive era. There are also other superhero-type genres that are getting the same attention.

Reel Review: Ted 2!

07.22.2015 – Sometimes original movies that made a dent at the box office at the same time earning positive reviews don’t end up getting a sequel. For Ted 2 it was expected while there others that they are already satisfied with the story. Seth MacFarlane would eventually announce a sequel due to the cult following o the said film. Would you abandon and forget the Thunder Buddies are you? Of course there’s opportunity also to merchandise more Ted plush toys for everyone too.

Blatant Card Schemes in Identity Thief!

04.26.2013 – Identity Thief happens for real and as portrayal in film is quite a bit exaggerated for its comedic plotline that stars Jason Bateman and Melissa McCarthy which prove that their acting chops and chemistry made this one of the good films to watch just to have some laughs. In the real world Identity Thief is no laughing matter and it happens almost to everyone with destructive damage to your credit rating. In the US they measure you as an individual through their credit rating.

04.10.2013 – Back in the day Iu8sed to work in the call center industry and one of my first jobs assigned from the fraud department for a well established financial company in North America and it was one of the challenges we’re tasked to do is to determine case. Mostly the reports I encounter is about “Identity Theft” which has been use as a vehicle for Hollywood movies and it’s also a case some people would encounter in reality from social media to their credit cards that gets phished out online which brings us to the upcoming film which stars Jason Bateman and Melissa McCarthy.

Ted is Real and Its a True American Film!

09.21.2012 – Ted is an American comedy film, co-produced, co-written, and it’s a live action directorial debut by Seth MacFarlane, popularly known for his adult related animation series in The Family Guy. The movie stars Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis with Seth MacFarlane providing the voice for Ted the living plush bear. The film has a surprising cameos and special appearances by some familiar actors that inspired the characters setting from the 1980s and 1990s.

The Dictator Press Screening at the Gateway Mall Cineplex!

07.25.2012 – Solar Entertainment and United International Pictures held a press media screening for the political satire movie in The Dictator which stars Sacha Baron Cohen (Ali G, Borat and Bruno) as Aladeen from the fictional country of Wadiya. The event was held at the Gateway Mall Cineplex lobby and the film was shown at the Cineplex 5. It’s one of the state-of-the-art cinemas using Boral cinema acoustical wall system with built-in JBL surround speakers driven by powerful QSC amplifiers which are incorporated with the very latest Dolby Digital EX theatrical sound system.

TED the Movie: One F*cking Bear?!

06.06.2012 – Mark Wahlberg has not made a comedy this insane and definitely Ted IS Real. Nope I’m not talking about my good friend Tedi Villasor or that Teddy Ruxpin plushy that was owned by kids back in the 1980s. Yes, Ted is Real and it’s a movie about a stuffed bear that came back to life and started blogging online about what he sees and do on a daily basis. Interesting enough being owned by a kid who wishes his toy would come to life has a very nasty disposition. I’ve seen nice bears like “Care Bears” but this one has a dirty mouth that you can’t stop.

06.01.2012 – The Bourne Legacy does not have Jason Bourne but the story continues with Aaron Cross who doesn’t know the ramifications that he will face against the ramifications of the Treadstone conspiracy. The much talked about movie that was shot January up to middle of February 2012 in the Philippines has released its first official trailer last February 9, 2012. Even before the production was not finished shooting the film the trailer was really a tease to fans that followed the franchise and it was indeed promising.

The Return for an American Reunion!

01.09.2012 – It seems that we haven’t forgotten one film back in 1999 about these high school delinquents that made a buzz which spawned three feature films and four spin-offs straight to home video. The original trailer was out sometime early in November 2011 and it’s a good time to revisit these characters for another “American” tradition. I’m talking about the “American Reunion” a sequel to the American Pie films and yes there was talk about this film when it first get some viral news through the interwebs. Lately I just caught up with the news and mighty find to share you more than the “regular” trailer.
