Sunday Market | Breezing Through Traffic

12.04.2017 – It was another Sunday Market at Marion, which happens every first Sunday of the month.

This was personally my second time to go here, but it was a quicker trip to go through the vendors and people who just want to clear their garage or shed.

Basically yesterday’s Sunday Market wraps up for 2017 with this gathering.

It was a gloomy morning and last time they held the event in the main soccer field, but for this month they have organized the event in a smaller venue selling their old stuff and there’s not much of interesting to look at although great to see new faces as Sunday Markets at Marion are not the usual sellers.

I look through some of those garage sales that have antiques and other things that they want to clear out. There are old telephones even television, but usually I keep an eye on the vintage toys that I can’t afford just looking at them seems enough to appreciate I had some of them like the old Matchbox Personnel Carrier or that classic Happy Meal toy. There are CDs, VHS, and even vinyl albums being sold.

If you ask me there are also paintings and other things like old comic books. It’s a lot to go through in one day. Usually the Marion Sunday Market opens its doors at 7 AM and they try to clear out before noon. The weather was unpredictable yesterday and they said its already summer, but these photos below would give you an idea how things went down as the next one will be for 2018 already…

Before 9 AM I already left the area trying to catch the next bus to the city. But the trip down memory lane with all the old stuff being sold there was quite a trip. There’s another Sunday Market but that would be not this Sunday but the following one at Brighton with some of the same people.

It was great to see how they set up and you thought this was just market about garage sale. Some have food stalls and selling fresh fruits too just like last month. For now it was a good breeze through the area well until next year perhaps?
