RX93.1's Morning Rush Live at Starbucks!

08.08.2013 – RX93.1 is celebrating its anniversary this August and to kick off this month’s celebration The Morning Rush the longest running show is airing their first radio program live at the Starbucks branch at Ayala 6750.

It was last minute that I had to go to the show since I haven’t been to the radio station in a while missing a lot of things due to personal commitments and work.

I can recall the last time I was in the booth during the last radio broadcast by Jude Rocha last year and that’s pretty much sums up that I missed a lot.

The Last Ride Home with Jude Rocha.

10.12.2012 – How often do you see history unfold and become part of it?

For some reasons I’ve been fascinated by history and the legend that represents them.

It could be an event or certain individuals who we get the opportunity to know them up close.

Today was a story of both though I may not be as close as any certain personality someone like a radio DJ in Jude Rocha who may have taught me the little things that he may not know that I’m applying now as an adult.

The Morning Rush: Top 10 Book Launch

02.26.2012 – Chico and Delamar’s Top 10 book is now a best seller and that is something of a record. Their fifth and last book signing was accepted with great reception at the National Bookstore in Mall of Asia.

The book signing is not as phenomenal as the first one five weeks ago but there are already talks about the second volume. What was once a segment of their radio shows it’s now the stuff you can read just to forget the everyday drama.

The tandem has given them 15 years making them the longest running Philippine radio show to beat.

Former RX Rusher, Mhate Canales Remembered.

(Photo by Reyzel Cayanan, November 2009)
01.16.2012 – Sometimes the bearer of bad news would come in the form of curiosity. Waking up to find out that friend would no longer be around.

Though she’s not that close a small token of respect to mourn her loss is enough for a few to remember her well.

Exactly 10 days ago a former listener of RX93.1 had passed away. She used to be an avid listener of Monster Radio RX93.1’s The Morning Rush.

Her name is Mhate Canales, if anyone of you can’t recall she used to hang out at the RX booth during the meet up on the last Saturday of the month.

01.10.2012 – Mikey Bustos woke up the country once again with his presence as special guest on the top rating radio show The Morning Rush on Monster Radio RX93.1 with DJs Chico Garcia, Delamar Arias, and Gino Quillamor.

The booth once again was crowded again with the regular Rushers who were there as early as the show started.

Mikey arrived a bit late but was all settled immediately and spoke on-air to welcome his regular You Tube viewers who continuous to follow his appearance whenever he pops up.

The listeners are all anxious to see what’s happening behind the scenes.

Reminiscing The Radio1 days.

03.12.2010 - This reminds me how different I was in 1998. Primetime Jam is an old Radio 1 program aired on Monster Radio RX93.1, that I was the main host and had a partner or two.

Those where the days I'm missing a childhood dream, and for the reason why I sounded good when talking to clients on the phone.

Though radio is different you have to be spontaneous and smiling all the time. Its something I haven't been doing in a long time. Probably its time to go back to my roots and pay my dues where I got these abilities.
