Ralph Literally Wrecks the Internet!

11.28.2018 – Animation featured films have evolved not only aesthetically, but also the content of its narrative.

For younger kids, they may appear funny and entertaining but as an adult, you’ll see the complexity of how it was written and why some of these films take longer to come up with a sequel.

Wreck-It Ralph has now become a franchise after its sequel Ralph Breaks the Internet brought in a massive box office and critical reviews all around the world. There are very few animated featured films but this one certainly was a home run.

In this generation of multimedia, you have to be a few steps ahead with everyone with ideas that could become a hit or a miss. Ralph Breaks the Internet literally destroyed the cinema blowing it up at the top of the spot even earning more than its original. Before I used to just sit through the cinema, and just enjoyed the gratitude of seeing the film as for what it is an entertaining animated featured by Disney.

Last night I came in and observe how something so innocent and fun for the kids would be this interesting for most adults. Behind the grandiose visuals and colorful delight of 3D animation, this film really appealed not to just kids but to everyone who can relate to what everyone does on the internet.

From wrecking his game to the cyberspace Ralph has done the impossible, but most of all its seeing how these characters’ adventure is told in as much grounded possible way. It’s an impressive trope that made you connect with them as relatable as everyone going through life and how this makes an interesting story.

Ralph is not only breaking the internet he also breaks your heart for most of the underlying tone the core of it is about friendships why things change and they’ll never be the same again. It’s a bittersweet ending unlike how Disney’s fairytales with closing on a happy note. It’s entirely a laugh-a-ton with John C. Reilly and Sarah Silverman reprising their roles with the now iconic characters. You never wonder how things change so far to think they’re video game characters from a fictional world that really touch some emotional chords there.

What is impressive is the narrative all throughout the film sitting there for almost two hours you realize this is a kid’s movie, but underneath its way more than that. Although the Disney Princesses almost stole the scene they kept it right focused on what really is the story, which is the relationship with Ralph and Vanellope. You can’t write a good story without these characters and their friendship and it certainly takes it to another level that made this sequel even better than its predecessor.

Overall Ralph not only breaks the internet but everyone’s heart and if you’re an emotional kind of person you’ll easily relate to this movie. It was certainly a fun film for everyone mostly to the adult movie going public. The Disney Princess was there and not to forget Shank as Gal Gadot was a hot number too.

With all that always NEVER EVER leave the cinema during the credit scenes though this is not like Marvel, it is a Disney animated feature film there’s always something of a bit of a surprise in the mid-credits and the very end part of it. Although I won’t spoil you here’s a hint below…
