Festive 'Makati Block Party' Reigned

07.04.2016 – The rain kept pouring Sunday afternoon but it did not dampen its festive Makati Block Party that started at 4 PM. It surely was literally raining but the event was also reigning with people having the culinary street experience.

This is the first time they held it along the closed portion of Paseo de Roxas just beside Ayala Triangle Garden. From food, music, and activities for children everyone was on a festive mood even though heavy downpour has washed the city. It was definitely a place that you should have gone to but if didn’t here’s more…

It’s the same organizers from Salcedo Community Market with collaboration with Ayala Land that produced the first ever “Makati Block Party” that captures the same flavour local communities do on a weekend. Besides the food and music that made this event differ from the usual weekend markets it had activities for children.

If that wasn’t enough to miss out all the experience from last Sunday’s first ever block party here are some images that was taken late in the afternoon:

The Makati Block Party is supported by Alveo, Magnavision, Urban Ashram Manila, and Hunt & Gather.
