First Look! Here Comes The Boom!

06.27.2012 – Here Comes The Boom stars Kevin James as Scott Voss a former collegiate wrester who is 42 year-old Biology class teacher in a failing high school. When budget cutbacks look like the might for cancellation in some classes including the school’s music program. This might also lay off his friend who is the teacher of the music program. Scott begins to raise money by joining in a mixed martial arts competition to fund the program around as the movie’s premise. Kevin James’ character is going to get a serious beating if you haven’t heard about this film.

This also stars Salma Hayek as James’ love interest and Filipino singer sensation Charice Pempengco as Maila Dela Cruz one of the student in the film. This is her second film in a minor role and this time being around real people compared to singing around with a computer animate critters in the second movie of the Chipmunks.
