03.09.2012 – We live in a luxury even though some of our countrymen are living in poverty. The world is not a perfect place because every minute of every hour someone dies. In other countries they too experience the hardships in life unlike no other. We are fortunate enough to have a diverse culture and to make the difference and not indifference. For years we strive to protect our democracy and our freedom to the point of making bigger mistakes along the way but we live to see the sun run bring in our mother land. |
For the people of Uganda they are striving to have their own freedom but one individual stood and are making hard for this country to move on. A documentary video by Invisible Children has been a trending topic in the social media. It had been retweeted and reblogged several times that its viewers are now about to hit to 4to hit to 43 million on youtube alone.
The subject of the video by Jason Rusell is a documentary about the LRA and its leader Joseph Kony. This is the campaign and intention of the production is to draw attention to Kony in an effort to increase United States involvement in the issue.
If you have not seen the thirty minute video maybe you might want to help spread the word after watching it…
Let's hope Invisible Children will raise Kony's notoriety enough to provoke a massive overnight poster campaign on April 20, 2012.
