Night Court | Indecent Cancellation

Modern Television shows are hard to come by when it comes to making a string of hits these days. It has to conform to the contemporary audience, as these days you can’t just put up a modern sitcom that will give you backlash because of a specific theme or scene by a character that would be offensive to conservative critics. The recent cancellation of Frasier’s spinoff is one example of why older fans have been up in arms about the concept that the lead character had to move back to Boston and undo the happy ending that he had cherished that lasted only to the second season, with an open-ended narrative that can be considered the end or can be revisited.

Ted Lasso | "Carol the Bells"

There’s something optimistically funny about Christmas themed episodes on television, but it’s only August and the fourth episode of “Ted Lasso.” Though given the setting and timeline of the second season picks up in the middle of the new season it makes sense that this episode arrives with a different opening tag. Most of the TV Series that features a "Christmas Episode" airs it's shows around Thanks Giving, but this one came out right at the gate with this as a surprise.

Ted Lasso | "Do the Right-est Thing"

The third episode of for this second season of Ted Lasso was something of a build up from the past two episodes (now streaming on Apple TV). The surprise return of prodigal son Jamie Tartt after the fallout from last season, and his career going under after he got booted out from the reality TV from the last episode. It was unexpected that Jamie would return to AFC Richmond, but knowing Lasso who cared about people than wins there’s a narrative like keeping your eye on the ball.

Ted Lasso | "Two Aces"

The sixth episode of “Ted Lasso” is slowly taking quite an impression that no one is taking notice in these challenging times. Perhaps it’s being buried by films and TV series that have worthy of attention. It is also rare that there’s a sports comedy series that definitely trolls and satirizes some of the moments in real-world sports history. This series certainly brings out the best of the theme that is not rarely seen on television.

06.18.2018 – There have been too many science fiction shows now in television and in the films. So much that expands also to streaming networks like Netflix with all-original content that you get lost track of everything with some of them have been well-written that there’s not so much time to get engrossed in them. But back in the 1980s things were different when it comes to these types of shows. With Star Wars its about how popular that inspire others to make their own and experiment through stiff competition why movies like Tron back in the day never get the attention until a cult following brings it back. But not like Automan that inspired it this was unheard of well until you borrow it in a library.

TV Review | The Adventures of Supergirl

10.11.2016 – Welcome to the second season beginning with “The Adventures of Supergirl” to start a new narrative for National City based ‘The Girl of Steel.’ The much anticipated kick-off episode also introduces the ‘Arrowverse’ version of Superman portrayed by Tyler Hoechlin. This is also the debut of its new series being aired in the US on The CW from last season’s CBS. The new season had many upgrades besides adding Superman as a guest cast and it wasn’t that obvious until it was finally aired.

Stranger Things | Beyond Popcorn & Flickering Lights

08.16.2016 – Joyce Byers is not buying it that his son is dead. The Duffer Brothers is just merely holding back to what everything is all about “Stranger Things.” Netflix has not renewed the series and the collective who have seen it is very anxious. I myself won’t even believe it that this is all about it. There have been breadcrumbs left at the wake of the eight episode first season series and the lights are slowly flickering. It’s a series that had resolution but also left the upside down open…
