Foot Locker Philippines | Images on Opening Day

Foot Locker is a well-known sporting goods store in the US as wells as in other countries around the world. For the longest time (no pun intended) it never had its footing in the Asian region until its recent announcement that it would open store across Southeast Asian countries that would include the Philippines.

This was announced sometime in October 2022 with its very first store would open in the commercial district of Makati City. With that news a few weeks back the date was set and early this morning the line had already built slinking around the Glorietta Mall’s location, which is a typical things when there’s an ‘exclusive’ shoe drop would occur for much of the sneaker head community.

Glorietta Mall Events | The Beatles Exhibit

The Beatles are an iconic band and has inspired a generation of individuals, artists, and other bands throughout the world. They have released a documentary in late 2021, and fans continue to listen to their songs with younger fans finding them through their parents and grandparents.

With that, there’s a Beatles exhibit in Glorietta Mall that will transport you to the glory days and how they put together those iconic songs.

Plus, you’ll never question yourself if we all live in a Yellow Submarine because a part of that area is shaped like that iconic vehicle that defined that famous song. This is definitely a place worth a visit for those Beatles fan out there that want to relive the moment.

Glorietta | Godzilla Stuck in Japan Town

Godzilla VS Kong has been already out through streaming giant HBO MAX, but in Southeast Asia it was released via HBO GO. The Philippine cinemas have been closed since the start of the pandemic. Most of the films locally and internationally have found other means to promote entertainment through streaming services. The promotion side has been scarce without the use of big screen cinemas.

But sometimes to save cost in promotion a film that wasn’t even available to be seen by a huge crowd find ways to be innovative despite that it has been used before.

Case and point with Godzilla, and for those who can recall there was a huge installation at Glorietta 4 Cinemas, which you can find a Godzilla head is now relocated.

BuyANI | Sustainable Farmer's Market Fair

In these challenging times one must have focus in making sure the priority is health and safety. Recently, since the pandemic the most have been hit with the struggles are the Famers. Most of them needed to travel from their hometown to the city just to sell their wares. But since going to one place to another has become difficult, which crippled travel commutes there’s no way for the famers to sell therm.

Add that most markets have been closed but that will change as Ayala Malls, Department of Agriculture (DA), Ayala Foundation, and the Restaurant Owners Association of the Philippines (RestoPH) launch a campaign to help local farmers to be able to sell their products through “BuyANI” an event in rebuilding and also showing support for local business and communities.
