Foot Locker Philippines | Images on Opening Day
It’s no surprise that this happens if you’re not into sneaker collecting. But this was kind of a double whammy, and not only has the line built its way around the commercial area this was also the opening day. There’s an air of excitement for most people and also caution if the crowd is not controlled properly.
It’s been a while since stepping into a Foot Locker outlet, and the last one I’ve been was four years ago in Rundle Mall, where I acquired a pair of Jordan Relentless that is exclusive to this store regarding its colourway. I’ve been to a Foot Locker dating back to 2013 and picking up a pair of chucks in December 2014. During the time living in South Australia I always frequent the branch inside Westfield Marion.
But the one in the edge before you cross Rundle Street is where I got the Jordan Brand sneakers. I was no longer into the brand as I’d rather wear sneakers that is built for my feet that is more function than form. With the opening of Foot Locker in the Philippines it adds another competing store alongside longtime store like Athletes Foot and SM Store’s in-house sports brand Sports Central.
Not excluding the branded boutique stores competing for consumer market, but the best to go are the first two mentioned stores and now with Foot Locker. Personally, since the long lines and people crowding the store for exclusives I’ll probably wait to visit this place since I’m not one of those invited VIPS to see it first.
Foot Locker is located on the third level of Glorietta 3, and for more about their products and other ‘exclusive drops’ follow @FootLockerPH on their social media via Facebook and Instagram!
