Pop Home | Han Solo & Greedo Shakers
Yes Sir, Funko has the “Pop Home” product line similar to their Pop Vinly figurine counterparts’ aesthetics. The difference though, is that they are made for your home accessories and they are not for display or to be played with (Funko are supposed to be ‘art toys’ mostly they are not played but only for display).
With that in mind home decors or accessories are used in the kitchen of aesthetics for your table. Funko had some ideas and they produced Funko Pop versions that are Salt and Pepper Shakers of Han Solo and Greedo. You know, the two duke it out in the first scenes of A New Hope at the Cantina where the debate started about who shot first between these two scoundrels.
The cheeky versions of this adorable figurines makes it into a home décor as a Salt and Pepper Shaker made of porcelain and yes, if you drop it goodbye Pop Home like it was Humpy Dumpty in so many pieces. They are actually lightweight but don’t expect them to be durable as more of fragile versions of a Funko Pop.
These porcelain figurines are packaged in a very thick window-type box compared to the usual think-type boxes the usual Funko Pop figurines came with. It might appear like they are collectible figures if you don’t look closely.
Both Han and Greedo are packed in a translucent plastic tray in a very thick box for their protection as they are actually lightweight and fragile. They are made with high quality porcelain that you can put salt and pepper in each Pop figurine. They’re pretty solid and well-made for a home décor and it’s for every Star Wars geek out there.
Overall they are nice collectibles that will be taking over your cupboard or while they get passed around the dinner table while having a warm soup or good food with a pinch of salt. Surely, there’s not going to be a shootout for these two.
You can get these Funko Pop Home: Han Solo Salt and Greedo Pepper Shaker at Comic Odyssey and Planet X Comic Shop in Metro Manila. For more follow these comic shops on their Facebook and Instagram.
Acknowledgements and thanks to Comic Odyssey’s Sandy and Rowena for this pair of Pop Home Porcelain figurines.
