Everyone Can Be... The Lucky One.

04.16.2012 – Everyone is “The Lucky One” in his/her own way. For every path in life we live to be “The Lucky One” just the like the special press media screening by Warner Bros. Pictures.

The film stars Zac Efron and Taylor Schilling from the acclaimed best selling author of “The Note Book” and “Dear John.”

You know how Nicholas Sparks is known for these romance novels that send chills to a woman’s spine. For some hopeless romantic out there who still tries to find “The Lucky One.” It doesn’t take a rocket scientist or some person to see what lies ahead.

In our lives we make our own choices to move on to get out of the routine. For some they won’t accept that until it’s too late and in the case of Zach Efron’s character he was just in the right place and at the right time.

We have our own personal journey’s to take and what this movie tells us its not only related to finding the right one but being “The Lucky One” within your privacy. Going through the film Scott Hicks knows how to bring this novel to life. The camera angles and the beautiful scenery makes up for a story that revolves between two people.

For personal thoughts about this film I didn’t paid attention to the story but the scene by scene detail that caught my attention.

Not to stray from the movie itself we always wanted to travel and this gives a view how one place of America that we should wish to visit some day. Going back to the film the actors delivered good performance and seeing Zac matured from his High School Musical days definitely hope we can see more of him in matured films like this.

They said he was good in “Charlie’s St. Cloud” but “The Lucky One” adds another mature role to his belt. Taylor Schilling was delightful turn off to some viewers who would like to have a piece of Mr. Efron but seriously she did great.

Though not familiar with his previous roles being notably new looks a bit older for “Sgt. Logan Thibault” character, but it didn’t much bother me a bit of that only a few audience can react.

Overall the movie is for hopeless romantic people, married couples, boyfriend and girlfriend, even gays who just wants to see Zac show off that manly bodeh. Not to forget Nicholas Sparks fans who reads his novels.

If you can’t get enough of The Notebook or Dear John maybe this one could really heat up your summer. This gets rated 3.5 out 5 for those who have been bitten by the love bug.

The Lucky One opens in cinemas across the country on April 19, 2012 from Warner Bros. Pictures Philippines.

Don’t forget to bring some tissues and wipes for those tears there too. Haha!
