The Riot at the Alvin and the Chipmunks Premier!

01.06.2012 – The start of the year won’t be this phenomenal without the movies to see in 2012. Last night Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows had its press media screening and it’s time for some serious watching. Last night was not the only film I’m about to see and fresh out of the cinema here comes “Alvin and the Chipmunks!” For the most part the press media screening was more for the kids as previous special screenings that’s related to the young ones it had the mascots (The Chipmunks of course!) and a Happy Meal booth?

You heard it a Happy Meal redemption booth! How cool is that? Definitely got to take home Theodore for FREE!

The event had free ice creams and cotton candy stands but also catered food for the adults to indulge in for good dinner.

Pasta was served and other knick knacks was there but due to that I arrived 5-10 minutes before the screening I had to pass it up as the trailers started rolling and all I got was a McNugget box (containing five pieces) and a orange juice in a tetra pack to survive the whole duration of the film.

The mascots of Alvin and the Chipmunks was there to welcome new arrivals as I only had the chance to hang out with Alvin as the other Chipmunks where gobbled up by the kids and the kid at heart.

The movie ended at exactly 9:30PM and as any child related movies it ended as early as a standard movie format. Parents and kids had a good laugh with some other invited individuals. I leave my thoughts on a review about to be posted soon.

For now I’m just one Chipmunk down to complete the main three characters needing a Simon and would think about getting the Chippettes if need be. For now I was wondering if there's going to be a special screening for the movie "We Bought A Zoo" which is about to be shown this coming week.

Alvin and the Chipmunks 3: Chipwrecked opens this Sunday across the country on January 8, 2012 from our friends at 20th Century Fox Philippines!
