Weekend Markets are starting to be a regular thing after almost two years of absence, and both Salcedo and Legaspi locations continue to invite more people not only within their respective areas but also from those who would want to make the trip outside the Makati CBD to see what’s unique about these places.
Generally, the events happen on Saturday (Salcedo) and Sundays (Legaspi), on top of that is a two-day event that happens on the first weekend of the month with the Makati Street Meet in Paseo de Roxas, where they closed off a section of that main road for that event that mostly parallels with those events only happening in the morning and past the lunch times. |
With the Legaspi Sunday Market, it has not only a unique group of audience that they cater to every Sunday, but they also attract those who would travel all the way to their respective locations just to get a slice of experience with the food, crafts, and other things they have been offering since they’ve been around in the early 2000s.
Personally, this Sunday was a bit of a rush and it wasn’t a plan to make the walkthrough as usual I get the rare opportunity to go to Wendy’s in Greenbelt 1 for the Macaroni Salad even though it is a bit of a 15-30 walk as this is the nearest location after they closed the one branch located at Tower 6789 in Ayala Avenue.
There’s nothing much for this trip to the Legaspi Sunday Market other than the interesting perspectives of the local crafts, pastry vendors, and the usual street food that continue to be consistently frequent during this event.
But in case you missed out on all things Legaspi Sunday Market, here are some images that were captured on the morning walkabout…
