09.18.2013 – Carrie a classic horror drama film from 1976 which originally stars Sissy Spacek as Carrie White was announced to be made a remake in 2011. It was in development for quite some time and definitely one of Stephen King’s novels to be made into film and television. The original film was directed by Brian De Palma which became a box office success and critically acclaimed. The film was spawned with a sequel in 1999 without De Palma’s involvement. But after almost 37 years the film gets a remake that will be shown in 2013.
