| 03.06.2013 – The Philippine Institute for Supply Management held the Gawad SINOP Award earlier. The award giving body recognizes and pays tribute to supply management professionals with excellent performance and corporations that have shown exemplary contributions to the development the uplift the supply management profession.
It is considered the highest honor given to professionals who has contributed in the industry. The event was held at the 2nd level of the function room in SMX Convention Center where tow recipients was awarded with this honor. |
The program was greeted by the speech of Mr. Ricardo Joaquin V. Sison, CPM, FSM President, SOFSM with his inspirational welcome remarks. Then there was music performance while food was served and awaited the next segment.
Then Secretary of the Department of Finance gave a speech and was given a reward in supporting this year’s PISM.
There are two major awards that was the focus of the event. The first award given to St. Luke’s Hospital which is the Corporate Award for Excellence in Supply Management Practice which was greeted with congratulatory applause inside the function hall.
The main award was given to the Supply Management Practitioner of the Year which was the last award prior to the closing ceremonies.

Philippine Institute for Supply Management held at the SMX Convention Center from March 6 to 7, SupplyLink 2013 will observe the theme “Innovation + Collaboration: the Keys to Global Supply Management Excellence” to highlight the significance of developing synergies and creative thinking to address the current megatrends in the Supply Management profession.
