Greenbelt Mall | Welcome to the Neighborhood

Greenbelt 5 Welcome you to the New Neighborhood, the adidas Neighborhood Store that is. The leading sports brand continues to expands its thematic community-style culture under the “Neighborhood” identity established in 2016 rebranding all it's a local store with a new look and more of a “home” kind of feels that you belong to this place as branding goes it cements its own identity from other competing brands.

Recently, adidas opened a new Neighborhood Store at Greenbelt 5 its second store with a similar theme that houses not only the sneakers and sports-related apparel but also the ‘street lifestyle’ sub-brand that includes the adidas Originals and other limited editions featuring collaborations like its recent Star Wars featuring Boba Fett.

It was quite a bounty in case if you find it inside the newly opened store that just had a ‘soft opening’ last Sunday. But the truth of the matter besides the new store comes with more of localized street culture with artworks and exclusive only apparel that would be released soon. If you haven’t heard of the name “QUICCS” you may be sleeping under a rock or still locked down into serious quarantine not to be updated in the outside world.

QUICCS of course is a local street artist and toy designer that came to prominence in the country with his famed TEQ63 art toy that has come out in limited editions and exclusive colorways. The start of 2020 was good for the co-founder of Hidden Fortress, a local art shop he collaborated with his Pilipinas Street Plan contemporaries. He recently signed an exclusive contract that would collaborate with the German shoe brand to add ‘local flavor’ to the adidas identity in the Philippines.

Yesterday he and his colleagues did make a visit at the newly opened adidas Neighborhood Store in Greenbelt 5 Mall checking out all the graphics that he has done that you can find inside the male and female fitting rooms as well as some parts of the store’s exterior with Japanese anime influence and a huge fan of hip hop music QUICCS brings something unique to this new store that he’s proud to represent the country through his artworks and the TEQ63 art toy.

In case you’re nearby the area and have heard about this newly opened store drop by and make the visit. Make sure you wear your face mask and shield as the Ayala Malls are pretty much strict about it now as well as the other establishments. For now, visit the new addias Neighborhood and see QUICCS works of art when you can!
