adidas Neighborhood Now at Glorietta!

08.20.2016 – Recently adidas opened a new store with HomeCourt, which focuses on sports wear that includes sneakers for basketball to running. This is how they reinvigorate the brand with a theme that would add personality to their store.

A couple of days ago they launched the Neighborhood more thematic to focus on the lifestyle side of the brand. The second Neighborhood store opened at the Glorietta, which previously another adidas store that gets a new look that identifies the brand.

The Neighborhood stores takes inspiration focusing on lifestyle with adidas Originals as its main apparel that would connect with street life taking the Three-Stripes and calling it their home. Staying true to the vision the first retail concept store for the Neighbourhood opened at the Uptown mall then followed with Glorietta last August 18th. Reinvigorating the adida brand with concept stores that also opened up with HomeCourt for more sports enthusiasts, the Neighborhood caters more with lifestyle rooted firmly in culture and what the Originals stands for.

“Neighborhood concept stores have already opened in major cities across the world: Berlin, London, New York, and Paris to name a few, but what makes each store unique is its connection to the city’s neighborhood within which the store resides. Each city’s design, style, and ambience are showcased through the interior elements of the store,” says Jen Dacasin, adidas Philippines Brand Communications and Sports Marketing Manager.

Before cutting the ribbon and letting customers have the first-hand chance to see the new-look adidas retail store there was a blessing. Outside the store at the Glorietta Activity Center a cordoned area set up a stage for music which also served food and drinks to the media and guests. Just like the opening the Uptown Mall adidas did not disappoint in making sure everyone had a great time.

Inside the Neighborhood stores it has a special, handcrafted design which incorporates the store façade and architecture. Connected to the scene and feel of Manila, Neighborhood is set to become a local and cultural center.

“Through Neighborhood, we create an engaging and fresh environment for our consumers that celebrate the diverse facets of Manila. By doing this, we ensure to remain part of the city’s landscape,” shares Dacasin.

The only place that can showcase the depth of the brand, the Neighborhood stores present the very best of adidas Originals: sneaker highlights, limited releases, and collaborations.

To celebrate the opening of the Manila flagship stores, adidas Originals launched eleven new colorways of the NMDs, inspiring everyone to explore and own the future. Sneakerheads and fans alike are welcome to visit the adidas Originals Neighborhood flagship stores, now open in Uptown Mall and Glorietta.
