Creed II | For Family & Friendships

12.01.2018 – There are sports films that are built upon the underlying drama that defined its identity, which has become an iconic franchise like Rocky and its continuing saga where the fictional athlete evolved throughout the years. Of course, Rocky Balboa steps back and becomes the mentor of the former Apollo Creed’s son.

Adonis Creed is going to have new challenges and Rocky will be with him all the way. They will face insurmountable odds that tie to their legacy and it is an interesting narrative that makes you appreciate the little things about this sequel to Creed even if you’re not a fan of the previous films.

The Man from U.N.C.L.E. Comic-Con Trailer!

07.12.2015 – This will probably one of the rare movies from Warner Bros. Picture Studios, that I’ll spend my money on and its not that I’m declining some of them. But I’m not a trying-hard movie buff wanting to see all the films and giving all the thumbs up.

Honestly after seeing “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” Trailer I find “Man from U.N.C.L.E.” more appealing. C’mon Henry Cavill as Napoleon Solo makes perfect sense.

Movie Review: We're the Millers!

09.14.2013 – We’re the Millers produced by New Line Cinema has been circulating its promotional trailers as early as May 2013. The film premiered in the US on August 7, 2013 with its adult, out of the ordinary and outrageous concept as a comedy film.

But of course there are several films which have taken this kind of themes previously either it succeeded or failed. After seeing the Philippine press media screening I’m still trying to catch my breath with all the gaseous laughter with those who have the opportunity to see it first.

PRESS RELEASE: The Millers are Box Office in the US!

09.09.2013 – We’re the Millers the upcoming comedy film from director Rawson Marshall Thurber (Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story) has been playing in US cinemas since August 7, 2013 and it has not yet been shown in the Asian region.

Actually the news is the film has mixed reviews but it is smoldering the competition when it comes to ticket sales and why is that?

Probably with films that have Jason Sudeikis and Jennifer Aniston in the poster that also have Emma Roberts and Will Poulter there’s something going on…

PRESS RELEASE: Meet Casey Miller!

09.02.2013 – Emma Roberts… Now where did I hear about her name? Ah! Just recall Julia Roberts was her aunt and she played some interesting roles in the past movies. I couldn’t imagine Nancy Drew as a runaway teenager but it is a challenging role to take.

Based on the recent trailer in “We’re the Millers” you won’t even recognize her from playing a delinquent but she is quite the talented actress coming from a line of well-known personalities. But honestly since at nine she can definitely have taken strides in taking roles that seemed out of the ordinary child star and I guess she has it in her.

Man of Steel Day at a Glance!

06.12.2013 – Man of Steel had a press media advance screening last night and it wasn’t as exciting as the Dark Knight Rises but close enough to just not expect something for the film to happen as this is a reboot of the Superman film.

Of course there were the usual cocktails and costumed individuals that some makes this a life career but hey give respect to those he are REALLY passionate about it. Man of Steel has been talked about all week and TV spots have been shown online. The merchandise of course is not that much interesting as it used to be back then.

PRESS RELEASE: Park Chan-Wook on Stoker!

02.13.2013 - The films right now have to be bold, new, unique and interesting that separates them from the mainstream that sometimes gets redundant. Movies that drive the narrative for a great story won’t be interesting if not for a passionate filmmaker.

Enter: Park Chan-Wook is one of the most celebrated and popular filmmakers in Korea, his work known for it’s very precise framing and violent subject matter.

Something that’s not very much Hollywood takes things out of the box literally.
