German 2006 Film Week at Ayala Cinemas!

09.23.2016 – It’s the time of the year where each month a film festival is held to encourage viewers to appreciate all forms of films. This month ushers the German 2016 Film Week featuring the best independent films for this country.

This is in partnership with Ayala Malls Cinemas which opens its screens at Glorietta 4 and Trinoma for the first edition of German Film Week on September 22 – 27, presented by the Goethe-Institut Philippinen.

This is one of the rare opportunities for you to be able to see the German culture in film and give you a different perspective about their country on how they make these types of films. It definitely will broaden your views about another country like Germany and its way of dealing with issues at the same time facing challenges the way the Philippines do.

The German Film Week 2016, marks the first all-German film event in the Philippines in recent years. Opening the event is the premiere of “Who Am I -- No System Is Safe” (Who Am I -- Kein System ist sicher) by director Baran bo Odar on September 21 at Glorietta 4 cinemas, Ayala Center, Makati City.

The film is about a gifted hacker who only feels at home in the virtual reality who finds an opportunity to demonstrate his talent to a wider audience.
