Monday was quite a start of the week, but with the National Elections in the Philippines had build-up to this since the majority of the candidates were pushing their candidacy by way of rallies around the country. Particularly, in the major cities of Metro Manila where people in droves campaigned for their presidential candidate. It was very much an intense weekend, and this Election Day was definitely for the books if you’re looking for something not done in other countries. Filipinos take their voting to the next level and it’s not the way you’ve seen 12 years ago. Just anyone who is a registered voter for this country, this time I get to experience and observe.

I have learned about the role of a party list in the world of politics. If one voted and gets to be nominated their role is similar to a congressman or a politician. I admit my range of knowledge of a party list is not that clear, but I had the chance to meet one, and had an opportunity to learn about their advocacy.

You've got the whole country at your attention, and the more you get popular everyday others tend to think what have you contributed to put your name on the map. A name is important to be known, but do you have to bank on the name of your family's legacy?

People would be blinded about what separates you from the legacy, that your family has built. Of course you've got to have your own identity to add to that legacy. I may not know your story, that's why some have no voice to say it. what have you done for this country that they will your vote on you?

Gloriaquino vs. Villaroyo?

When you read about the presidential candidates these day its hard to choose the one, that speaks out of your mind. With the black propaganda happening left in right it gets difficult to finding the truth between each one of them. Some might not talk about them religiously who they want. Others would just stay silent, and decide their votes on election day instead. I'm accounted for those who stay silent until the day I cast my vote, but honestly I don't have anyone in mind right now just like the few who stayed quiet.

Going against the grain if your an average joe, and doesn't know what's really happening in the real world. It must be that you maybe living in the cave. These either you read the paper or forget, that there's such a thing as Philippines politics.

The days are counting to the biggest day every Filipino is waiting, which is the National elections. As an individual we are entitled to our political views on what's happening. Quite frankly there's a few handful of us, who cares little what happens and turns a blind side. I admit I've been careless not to watch the news or read the Saturday or Sunday paper.

Ahon Party List.

I learned less what's the role of a party list until I got the chance to meet one of them. Namely Ahon is number #52. One of the party lists who are candidates this year. They mostly geared to focus on helping the OFWs, which was overlooked and was not given attention on how much they have contributed to the country's economy.
