LPGMA #161 is your Party List.

I have learned about the role of a party list in the world of politics. If one voted and gets to be nominated their role is similar to a congressman or a politician. I admit my range of knowledge of a party list is not that clear, but I had the chance to meet one, and had an opportunity to learn about their advocacy.

For those who have not brush up their information about these part lists. All I can say is they are a different body of group, that represent what they advocate to every Filipino. I know a few unknowns but if you get the chance to meet them, you'll know how sincere they are in being part to help the country. I'm not gonna be bias but to know them is to do research on them.

In the case of the Liquified Petroleum Gas Marketer's Association party list (LPGMA) a group, who advocates maintaining reasonably priced LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) accessible to not only household consumers but those of the mass sector.

They more tackling the issue not only the potential price hike on LPG, but concerns as well with health and environmental issues. There has been conducted studies that reveal 1 out of 5 globally suffer from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD or Black Lung) from sustained exposure to fumes emitted by alternative cooking fuel/methods. Being a party-list organization is made up of independent players in the industry, LPG-MA are watchdogs proud being part of the industry with the potential to help Filipinos across different facets, should LPG-pricing go unchecked.

What LPG-MA's goal of protecting the right of the ordinary consumer, and to give them access to lower priced LPG.

LPG-MA party-list numbered #161 is an organization representing the independent players in the industry. A non-stock, non-profit sectoral group set to participate in the upcoming May 10, 2010 elections having special interest in Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) industry and its allied concerns.
