Vinyl On Vinyl | Nevermind the Questions There's No Answer For

Some things surprising about going to an art show are unexpected at the same time it will make you react to an artist’s creation. It is always a treat to immerse yourself in a gallery of work that is completely unknown at the same time it gives you that impression of finding that inspiration and this solo show certainly have that.

Is Jumalon is relatively new to the art scene, but her work shows that the artist appears to be a ‘veteran’ when it comes to her craft of abstracts and watercolors that take you a place of imagination in every brush stroke or contour of the paintings that have been curated and framed in the main gallery of Vinyl on Vinyl.

There’s a certain place of inspiration and motivation to create each of her works, and the big ones certainly catch your eye with the mix of colours as well as the way it invites your curiosity to wonder where this place can be. Could this be fictional or from the artist’s imagination?

This sort of wonderment certainly gives you that vibe that you’re not in Kansas anymore when you peer through the other works especially the smaller ones in white frames. It is something to take a closer look at where it will take your thoughts and curiosity the way it gets your attention the moment you enter the gallery’s glass door.

The reception and opening of the exhibition happened earlier this evening, and if you missed it, here are some images from that show.

“Nevermind the Questions There's No Answer For" is a Solo Art Show featuring Is Jumalon that opened on 13 January 2024 and will be taking space in one of the galleries at Vinyl on Vinyl in the next three weeks.
