01.20.2020 – There are art galleries that stand out due to how they promote their talent, but there’s one that just has been unnoticed and underrated in anyone’s radar. For ten years they’ve been an art gallery that could and more introducing new talents as well as hosting some of the memorable events in the past.
Nova Gallery Manila had its last group show featuring the CVTY Collective titled “Public Space” last Saturday and it would be also the tenth anniversary as it finally closes its doors after a decade of shows as one of tis pioneers to bringing street artists to the contemporary art scene. It might be a silver lining there but Nova Gallery leaves a lasting memory to the regular artisan who has visited this place. |
CVTY a play on the word “Cavity” where most of the founding members are based from and continue to evolve after being founded by five members that is still active today. They continue to collaborate with art galleries like Vinyl on Vinyl and now with Nova Gallery Manila.

There’s a saying that there is light at the end of the tunnel as good news follows after Nova Gallery Manila closes its doors. The venue will still be here but a change of name and tenant will take over sometime in March 2020. For now you still have the chance to visit this last show until the first week of February 2020.
