HW Volkswagen | VW Käfer Racer

When you talk of the car brand Volkswagen, there’s more to the history and where it all began. But if you’re not into cars, you won’t bother to know about it, but when it becomes a miniature diecast car, there are anecdotes and stories behind it. There’s a story behind everything out there, and if you are into collecting diecast cars, conversations are born from it, and stories are told. These days, interest in diecast cars personally is more about the details and how the casting tries to be accurate from the real car itself. In the past, I’ve shared a story about Hot Wheels random cars that keep me interested because growing up driving one had become part of me. Collecting the same casting with a different livery would rarely get you coming for more. In this case, the VW Käfer Racer.

09.17.2016 – There are a lot of ways to express art, but for National Artist like Ben Cab he takes it to the next level and continue to be consistent for the reason he was given the title for being known for his contributions to culture and society. In the sixth Philippine International Motorshow he showed that his works or art also belongs to the automotive industry. In that form of a Volkswagen Super Beetle a classic work horse that also an iconic car for the German brand that continues to be significant today with its latest cars. The ‘Art Car’ known as “Sabel sa Beetle” was at PIMS all of its artful glory.

VW Launches CC & Caddy at 6th PIMS!

09.15.2016 – Volkswagen was again one of the car manufacturers to take the spotlight in launching two brand new vehicles. The afternoon was tense and the media was anticipating something the German brand has been keeping under wraps. It’s been three years since it was re-introduced to the country, now ready for another surprise. The sixth instalment of the Philippine International Motorshow did not disappoint and every other year they have something for event visitors. One of the bright spots of this car convention is the launch of the Caddy and the CC from Volkswagen.

The Beetle Story.

On the way out earlier today just saw another Volkswagen Beetle nearby my street. Is this a sign I should be interested again about the famed People's Car? I was into the car since I was ten years old where the family owned one.
