| “A Garden Within” is Hayara Ocampo-Tejido's latest solo exhibit at Galerie Joaquin's newest location. This is her first for this new location at Opus Mall opened in August 2025.
It’s a low-key exhibit that was revealed on September 12th: a new set of paintings from Haraya that continues to evolve like her real garden at home. The new pieces occupy whatever space Galerie Joaquin has to offer; it certainly makes the gallery vibrant with the chosen style and colours Haraya has put together in these ensemble pieces, and they certainly make someone’s wall something to look at when you explore her latest works. |
This new set of paintings reveals most of what the exhibit is all about, and it not only defines the title, but it encompasses everything the artist was going through in her thoughts while creating this masterful collection, with each piece defining the strokes and details, like carving its stories that add layers to that day when it was painted.
Every artwork defines what the artist was going through when producing these pieces. The brushstrokes and the lines that make some of their symmetry unique certainly make these pieces a must-have as a collection. The colours are vibrant and soft to the eyes, like the way you look at each artwork, each with its own story to tell.

Haraya’s work continues to challenge her in making these paintings, and her subtle style is certainly underrated by some. But for those who are really captivated by her creations, it is something worth noting how she continues to grow; since her first exhibit going back from four years ago has certainly come a long way.
