Makati Street Meet | Every Weekend

In Makati, the weekend has slowly expanded events and happenings around the CBD, which is also an alternative to just going to Glorietta or Greenbelt Malls. Looking for something more of a grassroots kind of event is something you’ll find more frequent than just happening in one scheduled weekend of every month.

The Makati Street Meet is hosting all kinds of happenings by closing off half of the Paseo de Roxas beside the Ayala Triangle Gardens. This weekend offers is a Hodge podge of random things you do not see during the regular Saturday or Sunday Markets and it shows the organizers are given that freedom to bring the best of homegrown happenings that will make their event stand out.

From handicrafts to pet care, they are slowly giving more diversity in every event they have happening on both Saturdays and Sundays. You’ll easily see this event as it closes off half of the main Paseo de Roxas that have tents lined up that you won’t miss when you pass by near these parts.

They also have live music courtesy of the local buskers that frequently perform in underpasses and nearby parks. There are more tents than food trucks now as compared to the past Street Meets. There’s more to explore around the Makati CBD if you willingly want to see something different that would cater to your interest.

In case you missed out on the past Makati Street Meet, here are some images to give you an idea of what’s just happened recently…
