Art is one medium that continues to be relevant through the inspiration that brings the artist to produce wondrous things, and this is where Ciane Xavier continues to flow like the river or a wind that breathe new life to the open fields, which is her major solo show with Vinyl on Vinyl this month! |
Ciane Xavier continues to learn making art, and now incorporating technology as one of the first artists to do so in their solo show. With incorporating technology by means of virtual reality as part of the ensemble concept she brings to her show.
Her major solo show for 2022 titled: “There is a world going on outside the world that I’m in” takes you to a deep dive of exploring the human mind as a portal, and the body is an entity of its own.

Ciane certainly navigates and immerse us with the experiences, where the installed video and media-based works are portals that lead to her imagined environments. Screen-based, auditory, and painterly– the works activate the viewers to enter a portal and directly encounter visual forms that may be perceived as interactive and conceptual abstractions rather than realistic representations.
“There is a world going on outside the world that I’m in” is Ciane Xavier’s major solo that is currently being on exhibit since 15 December 2022, and will be taking space at Vinyl on Vinyl’s main gallery until the end of the year.
